Most brain-training apps give you the same drills whether you slept 4 hours or 9. Lumen+ reads your sleep, HRV, and mood from Apple Health and turns it into "Brain Weather" — a daily readiness score that decides whether today is a Push Day or a Recovery Day. 36 drills, a real GPT-4o-mini AI coach that knows your actual training history, HRV-based breathing sessions, and a new no-pressure Zen Mode. Native iOS with Watch, widgets, and transparent StoreKit billing — no subscription traps.

Hey everyone — maker here.
I built Lumen+ because every brain-training app I tried felt the same regardless of how I actually felt that day — same drills after a bad night's sleep as after a great one. That never made sense to me: your brain isn't the same every day, so why should your training be?
Brain Weather is the core idea — it reads your sleep, HRV, and mood (with permission, via Apple Health) and tells you honestly whether today's a day to push hard or go easy, then adjusts your session accordingly. Everything else — the AI coach, the 36 drills, the new Zen Mode for when you just don't want a timer breathing down your neck — grew out of wanting the app to actually adapt to a real person instead of pretending everyone's the same.
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's tried Lumosity/Elevate/Peak and bounced off them — curious what did or didn't work for you there.

finally an app that doesn't try to make me do a memory drill at 6am after terrible sleep. the brain weather idea sounds gimmicky but it actually matched how i felt yesterday, recovery day was the right call.

@zgr1543136 Ha, "gimmicky" is honestly the right first reaction — I'd have thought the same before building it. The bar for Brain Weather was always "does it match how I actually feel," not "is the science bulletproof," so hearing it called a recovery day correctly is exactly the validation I was hoping for. Thanks for giving it a real shot.
