A while back, I kept coming across reels and posts claiming, “Prompting is dead, write loops instead.” It caught my attention, but when I searched Google to learn more, I could only find a single blog post about it! To figure it out, I ended up spending hours chatting directly with different AIs to reverse-engineer the concept and learn how to build proper loops from scratch. What problem was I trying to solve? As a mobile developer, I noticed that programmers, creators, and everyday users were constantly struggling with AI agents making mistakes, hallucinating, or returning half-finished tasks. A standard one-shot prompt just isn't reliable enough for complex work. I wanted to build an app that makes it dead simple to structure instructions so the AI actually finishes the job correctly. How did the approach evolve? When I started, the trend made it sound like prompts and loops were totally entirely different things. But as I developed the app, I realized that a loop is just the advanced, evolved version of a prompt. A prompt tells the AI what to do once; a loop gives it a structured workflow with validation checks, retry rules, and stop conditions to guarantee the best result. That realization shaped the core of the app, especially the "Prompt to Loop" converter!
