Alumni connections shouldn't end at graduation. LongTable brings verified alumni together to find housing and flatmates, join events, have discussions, discover alumni businesses and services, and message fellow graduates — all in one app.

Hey everyone ! ! !!
I'm an IIM Calcutta alumnus, and I've spent the last several months building LongTable on my own.
One thing that bothered me after graduation was how scattered alumni networks become. There are WhatsApp groups, LinkedIn connections, and the occasional reunion, but finding the right person for something as simple as a flatmate, an event, or a local recommendation can still be surprisingly difficult.
I wanted to build something around those everyday needs, rather than another place to collect connections.
That's how LongTable started.
It's been quite a journey getting it from an idea to an actual Android app. I've learned a lot, broken plenty of things along the way, and spent more time on alumni verification and onboarding than I originally imagined.
Now comes the harder part: getting people to join and actually use it.
I'd love your feedback on two things:
Does the idea make sense to you when you first see the app?
If you've built a community product, what helped you get your first active users?
Thanks for checking it out!
