Every AI photo tool "enhances" cars by hiding rust and smoothing dents. Listiq AI does the opposite: it's never allowed to lie about the car. Drop a photo on our homepage and watch four AIs work: Identify it (make, model, generation), check it for damage (every visible flaw, with severity), decode its VIN (specs + open recalls from NHTSA), then let the AI stage it on the background that sells it best β the car itself stays pixel-honest. Free, no signup, photos never stored.

Hello Product Hunt!
I've been building Listiq AI solo for used-car sellers, and I made one rule before writing any code: the AI is never allowed to lie about the car.
Every AI photo tool I tested did the opposite β "enhance" meant hiding rust, smoothing dents, adding showroom shine. Great for one photo, terrible for the buyer who drives an hour to a disappointment β and increasingly a legal problem (the FTC and EU both treat deceptive product images as false advertising).
So I built the inverse, and the free version is live for everyone:
AI Car Damage Checker β upload up to 4 photos, get an honest condition grade and every visible defect with severity and repair effort. It's prompted to never invent damage that isn't there, and never hide damage that is.
Car Identifier β "what car is this?" Photo in, make/model/generation/years out β with an honest confidence level instead of fake certainty.
VIN Decoder β any VIN β specs + open safety recalls from official NHTSA data.
AI Background Changer β puts your car in a clean scene while the vehicle itself (dents included!) stays pixel-honest.
Everything runs in the browser: no signup, no watermarks, photos processed in memory and never stored.
Two things I'd love from you:
1. Try the damage checker on your own car and tell me what it caught β or missed.
2. Tell me what would make this useful where you live.
I'll be around all day answering everything. Thanks!
Finally someone gets it. Threw a listing photo of my old Civic on there and it actually flagged the rust spot on the rear quarter instead of airbrushing it. Damage severity scoring felt surprisingly honest too.
@ceylinegil91932Β Thanks β that's exactly what it's supposed to do. Curious to know, did it miss anything you know is on the Civic? The misses are the bigger part.
