Do you build robots (or want to)? Start robotics development today with cloud logging and visualization in one line of code! Freedom’s Link ROS works out of the box with ROS (Robot Operating System), the most popular open-source robotics software framework.
It's been amazing watching my friends at Freedom Robotics as they have built up these tools. Every time I check in things are looking more refined - but it was clear from the beginning that they could smooth over so much of the data plumbing that's just overhead for most people. And I continue to love the spacey UI!

Nicely done! The logging this product offers is pretty essential for tracking major fleets of robots and identifying if something is wrong at any point in the system - Excited to see what you guys bring next.

I am an engineer - this looks interesting. What data would you track for a large fleet of AGVs?
@barry_jurs Thanks for the question. Most autonomous ground vehicles have a repeated set of core sensors (lidar, vision, encoders, safety, etc) which come together to control it. During development, uploading all of that data can be very valuable in debugging issues. Once it goes to production on a fleet, then a few of the key elements that we have seen as really valuable are battery status (so they don’t run out of juice), odometry location of the robot and things like the mission status (what it is doing). With smart alerts, the platform can report alerts on any of the robots where the battery is running low or if it has other faults. You can check out the video for more details on how it can be visualized. Also, across the whole fleet, you can see every robot which has an issue and deep dive into the logs and data to understand what went wrong.
