This company is a scam. When you sign up for a free trial, you unwittingly sign up for a yearly renewal. When your free trial is expiring, they offer you three free days, which you accept. Then they deny that you accepted the extension and charge you for a full year. Here is their response to me. Dear, [Customer] You signed up for a professional membership (annual plan)with a free trial on Jun 20. After reviewing your account, we weren't able to find any record of a request or activation for the extra 3-day extension. It appears that your original 14-day free trial started on Jun 20, and as there was no extension applied, a payment attempt was automatically made on July 4, after the trial period ended. If you believe you did request the extra days and something may have gone wrong, please feel free to share any details or screenshots, and we’ll be glad to look into it further. Let us know if you have any more questions. We're always here to help! Warm regards,

Maybe 1.5 stars. I was bombarded with ads for Liner as a research assistant. It is supposed to provide accurate and real references along with useful answers. Answers I got were simply wrong, mixing up simple geography and thereby give nonsense answers. Follow-up clarifications didn't get good results either. Another con was Liner's inability to understand the difference between "history" and "histories," resulting in totally incorrect answers. Follow-ups brought no corrections in Liner's answers. A few references were mildly of interest, but they were formatted in a way that made it slow and hard to access them.
