Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mikk, the maker of LicenseLedger.
A small contractor keeps track of more renewals than most people realize: a state license, sometimes a city license, general liability, workers' comp, a bond, certificates of insurance they send to general contractors, and trade certifications. Each one renews on its own cycle, and most are tracked in a spreadsheet, a paper folder or someone's memory. When one lapses, they can lose a bid, pay a fine, or be legally barred from working until it's fixed.
What LicenseLedger does:
• One ledger for every license, policy and certification, with the document attached and its renewal history
• Email reminders 90, 60, 30, 7 and 1 day before, on the day, and follow-ups if it's already expired
• A calendar feed for Google Calendar and Outlook, CSV import from your existing spreadsheet, and CSV export
• A printable compliance summary for general contractors, insurers or inspectors
• Team workspaces, so the office manager and the owner see the same dates
Pricing: free for up to 3 records. Solo is $15/month and Business (teams) is $29/month, or yearly at $150 and $290. Every new account gets a 14-day trial with no card required.
There are also free state-by-state renewal guides at licenseledger.app/renewals, which cover deadlines, CE hours and late-renewal rules.
I'd love feedback, especially from anyone who runs a trade business or does the paperwork for one. How do you track renewals today?
