I was searching for an AI powered reading companion, but the one that does not spoil the books and is available across devices, keeps track of reading progress and just allows to add a lot of new exciting AI features.

how does the spoiler-aware AI actually work when you upload your own epub, does it just summarize or can it answer questions about specific sections?

@ayazklkylvj Great question. It’s not just a generic summary layer.
When you upload your own EPUB, Libly processes the book into ordered chunks and keeps track of where you are in the text. The AI only gets access to content up to your current reading position, so it can answer without jumping ahead.
You can ask normal questions like “what just happened?”, but also more specific ones like “why did this character react that way?”, “explain this passage”, or “what do we know about X so far?” If it needs more context, it can search/read earlier chunks from the book, but it’s bounded by your spoiler boundary.

Uploading my own EPUBs and getting spoiler-free summaries alongside the text is such a clever idea. Tried it with an old sci-fi novel and the AI caught on to the twist without spoiling it.
