LectorApp is a reading tracker built to help people stay consistent and actually enjoy the process of reading more. Track books, pages, goals, and daily streaks, see your progress over time, and stay motivated with simple stats and habit-focused features. Unlike generic book apps, LectorApp is built around consistency, momentum, and the reading habit itself.
I’m Hugo Miño, founder and CEO of LectorApp, a reading tracker built to help people make real progress with the habit of reading.
⭐️ Why I built LectorApp
I believe reading is one of the most valuable habits a person can build, but modern technology is constantly pulling us in the opposite direction. Infinite scrolling, short-form content, notifications, and overstimulation make it harder and harder to stay focused on what really matters.
I wanted to build something that uses technology in a different way: not to capture more attention, but to help people recover it. That is the idea behind LectorApp.
⭐️ What LectorApp does
LectorApp helps you track your reading and stay consistent over time.
You can log your reading progress, follow your books and pages, build streaks, and see reading statistics designed to keep you motivated and improving. The goal is simple: to make reading feel rewarding, visible, and easier to sustain as a real habit.
Instead of becoming another distracting app, LectorApp is meant to help you spend more time away from noise and more time in the real world, reading, thinking, and growing.
⭐️ Why stats matter
One of the core ideas behind LectorApp is that progress becomes much easier when you can actually see it.
Reading stats are not there just for numbers. They are there to motivate you, show you how far you have come, and help you keep going. Seeing your streak, your pages read, and your long-term progress can turn reading from a vague intention into something tangible and consistent.
⭐️ The mission behind the company
The bigger goal of LectorApp goes beyond books. We want to fight harmful technology with better technology.
We want to build tools that give people more freedom, more control over their attention, and more connection with the real world. Technology should not trap people inside endless consumption. It should help them live better, think better, and spend more time on things that actually matter.
That is the long-term vision behind LectorApp.
⭐️ I’d love your feedback
I’d really love to hear your thoughts: Do you think technology can genuinely help people reconnect with reading and the real world, or does it always risk becoming part of the problem?
And more specifically: what would make a reading app truly useful for you?
Thanks for checking out LectorApp — I’m very happy to launch it here and hear what you think.
