Hello PH šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I'm Sabya, and I wanted to share a project I've been working on: LearnerStash - a place to discover, share and discuss the best learning materials. Finding the best sources to learn from is an integral part of learning. There are many courses, books, tutorials that cover a topic; So, I wanted to build a place where we can share and discuss books, courses, guides, etc. A place where we can recommend the ones that worked best for us. That's the idea behind building LearnerStash. Think IMDb+Reddit, but for courses, books, etc., (or Twitter threads, if that's your thing). You can create a list of your favorites simply by upvoting them (or submitting if they don't exist on LearnerStash). For example, here are my favorites: https://learnerstash.com/users/s... I hope you find it helpful. I'd love to get your feedback and am happy to answer any questions. -- Sabya https://twitter.com/sabya

I've been receiving a few questions outside PH. I'll try to answer them here as well: šŸ‘‰ How is it different from Goodreads, Amazon, or Coursera reviews? How is it different from doing a Google Search? Amazon and Goodreads cover books. MOOC platforms like Coursera have reviews only for their content. None are designed specifically with recommending me the best materials across the Internet or having discussions around the material. When I am looking for sources to learn from, I do a combination of searches on Google, Reddit, Amazon, and various MOOC platforms, and the process is a bit cumbersome. What I found is that discussions around materials give the best sense of how effective it was in the learning process. I wanted to build a community where people recommend books, courses, etc organically. Plus, I wanted to have a good way to share my list of favorites (and keep an updated list), that looks minimalistic and clean. šŸ‘‰ Why does a submission go through moderator review? Who can be a moderator? Mostly this is to prevent duplicate submissions and do a data sanity check. Currently, anyone with 5 approved submissions, that went through without moderators' modification, can become a moderator.
