Free browser-based generators that turn centuries-old Indian art forms — Rangoli, Kolam, Warli, and Mehndi — into living algorithms. Each tool encodes the actual visual grammar of the tradition: Kolam's dot-grid symmetry, Warli's geometric storytelling, Mehndi's flowing linework. Create, customize, and export unique patterns in your browser. No signup, no watermarks. Built by Kriti Chitra, a Hyderabad design studio where heritage meets code.

Hi Product Hunt! We built these because Indian craft traditions are actually rigorous design systems — Kolam patterns follow graph theory, Warli is a complete visual grammar. Rather than let them live only in museums and festival mornings, we encoded their rules into browser tools anyone can play with. Everything runs client-side and exports are free. Would love feedback on which tradition we should encode next — we're eyeing Kalamkari and Madhubani.
