Hi everyone,
I'm Ravitej, one of the co-founders of Korin. It's a personal finance app for people in New Zealand.
Most of the money surprises I've had weren't big decisions. They were a power bill that crept up, a subscription I'd forgotten, or rent landing a day before pay. Korin tries to catch those early. It connects read-only to your bank through Akahu, learns your regular payments and your payday, and tells you what's coming and what's safe to spend until then. You can ask it questions in plain English on the web or on WhatsApp.
It can't move money, and it never sees your banking password. There's a free plan with two accounts and two budgets, and Thrive is $15 a month with a 30-day trial.
It only works with NZ banks for now, so if you're elsewhere I'd still be glad to hear what you think. I'll be here all day to answer questions, and I'd like to hear what's missing.
Thanks for taking a look.
