Turn a photo or idea into a brick model, step-by-step building guide and parts list. klemm is a local skill for your AI agent, optimized for GPT-6 Astra in Codex. Get 3D files, renders, PDF instructions and a portable ZIP.
How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

I had the idea for klemm a year ago: could an AI agent turn a photo or an idea into a 3D model made of individual bricks? I spent a long time thinking about how it could place the pieces, understand their spatial relationships and check the result. With earlier models, the speed of computer use and limitations in 3D understanding made that ambition feel out of reach. In my experience, Astra changed that: faster computer use and stronger spatial understanding made the loop of arranging bricks, inspecting the model and running checks practical. That let me turn a year-old idea into a working local skill, with 3D models, building guides and parts lists, plus a website where people can explore an example. I built both with GPT-6 Astra in Codex. The models still need human review and physical testing, but seeing this idea finally become something people can try is genuinely exciting.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Selami, the maker of klemm.
klemm gives your AI agent a different kind of building task: turn a photo or an idea into a brick model, with a step-by-step guide and a parts list.
I built the skill and website with GPT-6 Astra in Codex for this challenge. Astra designs the assembly; the local tools check the model and export 3D files, four rendered views, HTML/PDF instructions and a ZIP bundle. The model, guide and inventory all come from the same design.
You can explore the cathedral example on klemm.build, then install the skill from GitHub and try your own idea. This is a local agent skill, not a web-based model generator. You'll need your own AI-agent access, Python and Blender; setup can provision Blender and the Python dependencies. The full setup/rendering workflow has been tested on macOS Apple Silicon.
It's an early version: upright rectangular bricks and plates only. Automated checks are not a physical build test, so the output still needs a human review before buying parts or building.
What would you ask it to make? I'd especially love feedback on the instructions and your first-run experience.
