The Problem I wanted to solve: Most habit trackers for kids either require the child to have their own device (which I didn't want) or they feel like a digital chore list. I wanted a Shared Screen experience that focused on connection, not just checkboxes. The Approach: It took me 3 years of late nights to get this right. The "10 PM Ritual" became the heart of the app. It’s not just about tracking; it’s about sitting together on one phone to review the day. What makes HabitCoin different: • Delayed Gratification: Kids don't just get a "badge"; they earn coins they have to save for real-life rewards. • Financial Literacy: It introduces the concept of earning and redeeming at an early age. • No Separate Devices: Everything happens on the parent's phone to keep the focus on the relationship.
