Now logging in can be nearly frictionless yet truly safe. Passwords are stored encrypted on today's most ubiquitous and secure personal device: the mobile phone, making good password habits easy to maintain. Use the phone's encrypted Bluetooth connection to your device like keyless entry to luxury a car. No cloud, hardware, or master password.
That looks like a useful thing. Why there is so few upvotes here? Perhaps people are happy with the default Chrome keychain?

@garintheengineer Thank you, I'm hoping we'll get more upvotes as well. Thanks for yours! Chrome has a lot of privacy concerns we've been aware of before they came to light recently, and even using MacOS Keychain risks exposure if the computer is hacked via network connection. We're definitely safer using KeyReel.

Hi, ProductHunt, I'm Oleks, cofounder of KeyReel. Thank you all for your support and feedback!
We are pretty paranoid about keeping our passwords safe as the key to keeping our online identities safe. We used KeePass for years, and while it's safe enough for our peace of mind, it's also a pain to use every time we want to log in. Solutions like SMS-based 2FA posed the same problem, with less security.
But more convenient solutions that allow autologin are usually cloud-based or less secure browser apps. We just didn't feel comfortable enough with either one security-wise, especially with all the news of hacked cloud servers. So after over a year, KeyReel is here!
KeyReel provides automatic logins with practically impenetrable security by keeping login data safely offline at all times while you browse your computer. Data is transmitted via encrypted Bluetooth connection--rather than a network--from your phone to your computer.
You don't need any extra hardware, just the phone you're always attached to anyway. And when you're done browsing, put your phone in your pocket and go. Once you're beyond Bluetooth range of your computer, there's no way to access your login data.
You don't need a master password either, although you can add extra authentication factors for sites you want an extra layer of info for.
And did I mention the lack of cloud servers? All your login data is your property, and we believe it should stay that way.
We are grateful for every bit of feedback we receive, because we have no way of tracking your activity once you download the app. So we hope you'll ask questions and make requests to help us keep making it better.
What feature do you want most?
