Hi Product Hunt š I'm Ilyas, the maker of Kenzalo.
Most budgeting apps are built for the US or Europe: bank sync, dollars, English only. In Morocco a lot of spending is cash, salaries are in dirhams, and our biggest expenses are seasonal ā Ramadan, the Eid al-Adha sheep, back to school ā plus "daret", the rotating savings circles many families use.
So I built Kenzalo around that:
⢠Log the day's spending in 2 minutes every evening (express entry: type "taxi 30")
⢠Monthly budget per category, in dirhams (or any currency)
⢠Yearly provisions for Ramadan, Eid and back to school
⢠Daret tracking: turns, contributions, when you receive the pot
⢠Shared budget for couples and families (Premium)
⢠Arabic (RTL), French, English, Spanish ā no bank connection needed
It's free to use, with a Premium plan at 29 DH/month for the advanced features.
I'd love your feedback ā especially from people managing money between cash, family and seasonal expenses. What would make you use it every evening?
