A tiny Mac menu bar and Windows tray app that keeps Teams from marking you Away during short breaks. It steps in only after 2 minutes idle, never moves the mouse or types, and pauses when you lock the screen, after hours and at lunch. Free and open source.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Christian, a 26-year-old developer from Italy, and KeepMeOn is a small side project that solves a tiny but daily annoyance.
You get up for a coffee, answer the door or grab a printout, and after ~5 minutes Teams switches you to Away, even though you'll be back in a minute.
The interesting part: "keep awake" tools don't fix this. They stop your computer from sleeping, but they don't reset the input idle timer Teams reads. KeepMeOn does, with a neutral input event that no app reacts to: no mouse movement, no keystrokes, no clicks.
A few things I cared about:
• It only steps in after 2 minutes without input. While you work, it does nothing.
• It pauses when you lock the screen, when the computer sleeps, outside work hours and at lunch. If you leave for longer, lock the screen and Teams shows you as Away, as it should.
• Native and tiny: Swift/SwiftUI on Mac (under 1 MB), C# on Windows (~2 MB installer).
• No account, no analytics. Free and open source (MIT).
I'd love your feedback, especially on what you'd want it to do next!
