I wanted to create a unique, new game that's extremely simple (basically just 3 rules) but with thinking complexity like Chess or Go, so here's Kedra; a free strategy game of connection. Place or push stones to connect your edges. Play with a friend online, on one device, or against AI. Built with GPT-6 Astra.
How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

I utilized Astra to brainstorm tuning the original idea and then testing it extensively through simulations to ensure this game actually worked. The key was making sure games could complete and there weren't any strategies which would result in deadlocks or wins every single time. Once the concept was proven through simulations I used Astra to build out the UI, I spent time fine tuning the design and then had Astra push to GCP to host this and update my domain DNS records which I had purchased after seeing this game was pretty fun to play.
Astra also created an AI bot that players can play against making this extremely easy to actually test out and the bot is really good actually. Overall I wanted to test OpenAI's new model by building something that I could launch very quickly and I think this game will provide a lot of fun for a lot of people.

I really wanted to make a game that was easy to learn with just a few simple rules but that allowed for creative and strategic thinking on similar levels as Chess or Go where players would genuinely be challenged. Open to feedback and recommendations!
