Kaxa is a personal finance app built by a solo dev in Honduras šš³ Most people don't know where their money goes. Existing apps are too complex or don't support local currencies. Kaxa fixes this: ā Register expenses in 2 taps ā Budgets with automatic alerts ā Savings goals + debt tracking ā Works offline, 8 currencies ā No ads. Ever. Built with Flutter. Launching July 2026. Hey Product Hunt! š
I'm Renee, I'm 18, and I live in Honduras. I built Kaxa because I had a simple problem: I never knew where my money went. Every month, same story ā I'd get paid and three days later wonder what happened.
I looked for an app to help. Everything I found was either way too complex, full of ads, or didn't even support my currency (Lempiras). So I opened Flutter and started building my own.
That was 2 months ago. Today Kaxa has:
⢠Expense tracking in 2 taps (faster than texting)
⢠Pockets ā split your money between cash, bank, and digital wallets
⢠Category budgets that alert you at 80% before you overspend
⢠Savings goals with real confetti when you hit milestones š
⢠Debt tracking with payment reminders
⢠A financial health score so you actually know how you're doing
⢠Works completely offline ā important where I live
⢠8 currencies, biometric lock, zero ads
No investors. No team. No CS degree. Just a real problem and a lot of late nights.
Right now Kaxa is in closed testin. We're launching on Google Play in July 2026.
I'd genuinely love to hear from you:
ā What's the ONE thing you wish your finance app did better?
ā Would you use something like this, or is the market too crowded?
ā Any feedback on the screenshots or the landing page (kaxa.lat)?
Thanks for checking it out. This community is the reason I started building in the first place. š
