Karbi is a carb and calorie counting diary for Android. Take a photo of your meal and it estimates carbs, fat, protein, calories and whether the food is likely to be absorbed over a short, medium or long time. Barcode and name search, nutrition label reading, daily budgets, statistics. For everyone who counts carbs or calories: diabetes, insulin resistance, low-carb, sport or weight loss. In Hungarian and English.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Szabolcs from Hungary, and I built Karbi on my own. I live with type 1 diabetes, and the meals I found hardest to count were the ones without a label: a family lunch, a restaurant plate, something a friend cooked.
Karbi estimates carbs, fat, protein and calories from one photo, and also whether the food is likely to be absorbed over a short, medium or long time. You check the numbers, correct them if needed, and save them to your diary. It's for anyone who counts carbs or calories: diabetes, insulin resistance, low-carb, sport or weight loss.
It's an estimate, not a measurement, so I'd love to hear where it's off. The app is in Hungarian and English, Android only for now.
