Kalm combines ad blocking based on uBlock Origin Lite, including YouTube ad filters, with a YouTube scam/NSFW comment bot blocker. It checks comment links, public author bios and visible channel promotions before showing comments—even when the text looks ordinary. Add blocked sites or keywords, optionally hide all linked comments, and choose a filtering level per website. Free and open source, with local checks and cached author decisions. Available on Chrome.

I built Kalm because a spam comment can look completely normal. Some bot accounts copy a human reply, then put a scam or NSFW link in their bio or promote another channel with an explicit avatar.
Kalm checks comment links, public author bios and visible channel promotions before revealing comments. It also blocks ads and trackers, including YouTube ad filters, using the uBlock Origin Lite engine. It's free and open source, with local rules and cached author decisions.
It doesn't classify pictures or detect copied text alone. Promotion rules can catch legitimate channels, and new author checks can delay comments.

The blur and red NSFW labels are edits to the recording.

An updated UI is pending store approval. I'd appreciate examples of bots it misses or ordinary comments it hides.
