Main Update: Chapters (if available) are included automatically into your Jumps.
Export now supports txt files and Markdown files.
2026-03-11 v1.21.1
- Feature: Export format selection dialog choose between Plaintext (.txt) and Markdown (.md) when exporting Jumps.
- Feature: Markdown export generates a well-structured .md file (H1 title, bold metadata, ## Notes section, bullet list with clickable timestamps).
- i18n: Export format dialog translated into all 7 supported languages (en, de, es, fr, it, nl, pt_BR).
- UX: Save/export button now opens a format picker instead of immediately downloading; Cancel option included. 2025-12-23 v1.21.0
- Feature: Parse and display video chapters (from description) in the Jumps tab.
- UI: Chapter entries show timestamps (clickable) and titles; preserved empty-list SPACE prompt.
- Formatting: Chapter timestamps use canonical `formatTime` (no leading zero for minutes when hours=0).
- UX: Chapters inserted inline by timestamp; new-note insertion respects chapter positions.
- UI tweak: Removed chapter left border and softened styling to avoid vertical clutter. 2025-12-15 v1.1.20.1
- Bugfix: Removed undefined function call causing toggle failure
- Centralized logging to prevent redeclaration errors
I don't use YouTube, although I do sometimes watch videos embedded in the websites I visit. I like the idea, especially the last sentence of the description regarding privacy. Good luck with your project.
@marcoparisidesign thank you very much.
Congrats on the launch! 👏
Time-stamped YouTube notes + “no cloud, no tracking” is such a clean combo — simple, private, and genuinely useful for learning.
@hijacey thank you. i hope you give it a try.
