ClearSpace is a privacy-first Android photo cleaner built around fast screenshot cleanup. Review screenshots, duplicates, similar photos, quality issues, and large media directly on your device. Nothing is deleted automatically—you choose what moves to the trash. The latest release adds faster screenshot scans, easier review, sorting and filters, and improved cleanup controls.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built ClearSpace because my photo library kept filling up with screenshots, duplicates, and photos I no longer needed — but I didn’t want another cleaner that felt aggressive or took control away from me.
ClearSpace starts with screenshots. It quickly finds the screenshots you can access, lets you sort and review them, and then you decide exactly what moves to trash.
It also helps review duplicates, similar photos, potential quality issues, and large media. Photo cleanup happens on-device, and ClearSpace never automatically deletes your photos.
The latest Android release is much faster and more focused: screenshot scanning now has its own lightweight flow, repeat library scans avoid unnecessary work, Similar and Duplicate groups can be reviewed in full, and the Results screen is designed around the photos themselves rather than statistics.
There’s a free tier with 50 deletions per month, while Pro unlocks unlimited cleanup and Swipe Review.
I’d especially love feedback on:
1. Does the screenshot-first approach feel useful?
2. Is the review-before-cleanup flow clear?
3. Does the privacy-first positioning feel meaningful for a photo cleaner?
Thanks for checking out ClearSpace! 🙌
