It's hard to maintain a journaling habit, it's easy to rant out loud. You can talk about your thoughts out loud and Joice will help you dig into things with fast, thoughtful follow-up questions. Over time, you'll get insights, analyses, and emotional trends on all of the people and things in your life.

Joice makes it so easy to maintain a habit of journaling. If you're unsure of what to write, or you simply don't have the time to sit down with a pen and paper, Joice will lob you questions to help you dive deep into what's on your mind. Journal while on a walk, before bed, or whenever you have 5 minutes to chat.

How does Joice handle privacy with voice recordings, and is there a way to keep certain rants fully off the record from the insights dashboard?

@nuraypzdp You own all your own data, which is kept in an encrypted database! Right now, we don't support exclusions of journals from insights, but this is a good idea - thank you for the suggestion. The app also supports exporting your data as well as data deletion requests, if you later decide you want to remove your journals from the app.

love how it leans into voice as the input rather than fighting it. the follow up question mechanic feels like the real product here.

@yasemineryitn I'm happy you liked the follow up questions! We worked hard on making them feel natural. Is there anything about your experience with Joice that you think could have been even better?

Finally found a journaling app that fits how my brain actually works. Voice rants with follow-up questions is a clever move, and the trend insights sound genuinely useful over time.

@sevcan893880 That's exactly what we were thinking when building it - sometimes your brain just wants to rant out load instead of write! Is there anything more that you'd like to see in future versions of Joice?
