Hi everyone. I built Jobbox because I am job hunting myself, and I kept losing track. Here is my own board right now, pulled live from the app. 54 applications. 27 sent and waiting. 1 in screening. 2 interviewing. 22 closed. 256 emails behind all of it. I typed none of that in. Since yesterday, 23 new emails arrived and one application moved from screening to closed. I found out by opening the app, not by remembering to update a row. That was the whole problem. The information was already sitting in my inbox. It was just never written down. How it works: Connect your mailbox. An app password, five minutes, once. Gmail, iCloud, Fastmail, anything with IMAP. Sync. It reads your mail and scores every message on your machine. No model, no network for this step, just the words. Run. The agent reads the messages it flagged and writes down what changed. A new application. A status move. An interview next Tuesday. Review. You accept or reject each one. Accept is the only thing in the app that writes to your board. Step 4 is the part I care about most. It never moves a card by itself. Every proposal shows you the line of email it came from, so you can check it in a second. One more thing. I did not open the app to get those numbers for this post. I asked Claude, which is connected to Jobbox and can only read. That shipped last week. It is free, there is no account, and the agent is the Claude Code or Codex CLI you already have on your Mac. If you are job hunting too, I want to know what your tracker looks like right now.
