Hi Product Hunt, I'm Trias, and I built Jeansh. A few months ago I spent weeks going back and forth to a hospital while still having to work. My laptop stayed at home; all I had with me was a tablet. So I worked over SSH from the tablet. The app I used is good, but for that situation a few things kept getting in the way: • Reading the .md files my notes and docs live in was painful • Downloading a file from the server was clumsy • tmux didn't really work • The tablet had to stay connected to my laptop at home just to see how a job was going • And nothing told me when the AI agent I'd started had finished, so I kept checking the screen in the waiting room That's why Jeansh exists. It's an SSH client for Android phones and tablets, built for exactly that kind of day: • Claude Code chat mode: talk to Claude Code on your machine over the same SSH connection. It picks up the sessions already running there and follows them live, in sync with the terminal. • Paste a screenshot into the terminal: Jeansh uploads it and types its path, so Claude can see the bug. • Native tmux panes, and tabs that come back after the app is closed. Your agent keeps running at home in tmux; you don't have to stay connected to it. • A push from your server with one curl when a long job is done, straight down the SSH connection, or through a signed relay when the app is closed. • A file tree and editor, Markdown with images and Mermaid diagrams, and PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis over SSH, with rows edited right in the grid. • A key bar with Ctrl, Esc, Tab and arrows, plus a floating magic key, for the keys a touch keyboard forgot. No account, no ads, no analytics. Passwords and keys stay on the device, encrypted with Android Keystore, and every new host key is shown to you before it's trusted.
