Hi Product Hunt! I’m Jaime, maker of Ireneo. I kept losing small ideas during walks, between meetings, and especially while driving. Most voice-note apps either become another place to organise, or move personal recordings through an account and cloud sync. Ireneo is deliberately smaller: tap once, speak, save the original audio to a local inbox, and return when ready. It works on iPhone and CarPlay. Transcription is optional and on-device when the iPhone supports it. There’s no account, analytics, advertising, backend, cloud sync, or network transcription. It is free because I want to learn whether a quieter capture flow is genuinely useful before adding scope. I’d especially value feedback on two questions: 1. Where do you currently lose thoughts: the car, walks, meetings, or somewhere else? 2. What would make you trust a voice-capture app with a thought you do not want in the cloud? I’ll be here all day.
