I built InvPrp after watching too many talented friends struggle with interviews they were qualified for. They'd spend weeks memorising generic questions from blogs, only to get blindsided by role-specific topics they never studied. The problem was clear: existing prep tools are one-size-fits-all. A React developer and a Product Manager shouldn't study the same material, but that's what most platforms offer. I wanted something that actually reads your resume and the job description, then builds a personalized roadmap — like a tutor who knows exactly what you need to work on. We started with a simple resume analyser, but users kept asking, "What should I study next?" This process led to the development of a roadmap generator, followed by mock tests and audio interviews for individuals who feel nervous when speaking. Each feature came from real feedback, not assumptions. The iOS subscription model was the trickiest part — we had to strip out the coin economy entirely to comply with App Store guidelines, which actually simplified the UX. @othman_katim For the resume checker report, it checks ATS compatibility, formatting & readability, content quality, impact statements (target-mentioned contributions), keywords & skills, length & structure, etc. The score is determined according to these factors. Then it points out strengths and improvements (the report calls out achievements and metrics for existing work experience) and identifies the key skills and generates a summary which helps generate a customised roadmap as per the job description.

Currently, it generates a customised roadmap based on the user's data and doesn't point out missing projects, as the problem statement focuses solely on interview preparation, but the roadmap dives deeply into topics and subtopics, prioritising the job description while generating the roadmap.
