I'm Mo and I built InvoiceHop.

Shopify don't actually provide merchants with real invoices. You can print an order but you don't get proper invoice numbers, you don't get credit notes when an order is refunded and you don't get the VAT details that accountants and EU tax rules require. Most stores end up either having to do it all by hand or paying for an app that charges you per invoice.

InvoiceHop does it automatically:

• An invoice for every order, issued on payment, on fulfillment or when you choose, with gap-free numbering

• Credit notes created for you when an order is refunded, edited or cancelled

• Packing slips, gift receipts, returns forms and labels, also in Shopify POS

• Quotes from draft orders, with a link for the customer to accept and pay

• 18 templates, documents in 24 languages, customers download invoices from their account

• For EU stores: Factur-X, XRechnung and Peppol e-invoices, and VAT number checks in VIES

Free plan is 50 invoices a month with all the core features. Pro is $10/month.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this, particularly if you run a Shopify store. What's the most annoying aspect of invoicing for you at the moment?
