The idea came from watching the same scene repeat in restaurants: a table of tourists squinting at a paper menu, the waiter trying to explain a dish with hand gestures, and everyone settling for "two pizzas" because it felt safe. The restaurant loses the upsell, the guests miss the best dishes, and nobody wins. And there's a darker version of that scene: a guest asking "does this contain nuts?" and getting a guess instead of an answer. In the EU, allergen information is a legal obligation (Regulation 1169/2011) — but most menus can't deliver it in the guest's language. So I built Intermenu.
