Many of the big platforms feel stuck in 2010—heavy UI, fragmented data, and social features that get in the way of actually finding a good book. As a software engineer, I wanted to see if I could build a cleaner, data-first alternative. Inky Reads is the result of that experiment. What we’re doing differently: Scale with Precision: We aren’t just a static list. We've build a robust framework, with a top notch tack stack to allow for massive growth and user engagement. Deep-Dive Bibliographies: Instead of just a 'Top 10' list, we provide structured timelines for authors like Kristen Bird and Michelle Berry, making it easy to see their entire body of work at a glance. Performance First: The site is built on a modern stack to ensure that even as we scale to 10,000+ titles this month, the search and browsing experience stays instant. We’ve just hit our first 1,500 pages, and the growth has been incredible to watch.
