Free, open-source invoicing for freelancers & small teams. Send pro invoices, get paid online (Stripe & PayPal), and keep every record in a single file on your own server. Self-host it free in a ~50MB Docker container or use the managed Cloud and skip the ops.

👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Barış, the maker of Inkvoice.
I built Inkvoice because every invoicing tool I tried fell into one of two camps: hosted-only SaaS that keeps your data on their servers (Wave, Zoho), or subscriptions you rent forever (FreshBooks, QuickBooks). I wanted a third option: free, lightweight, modern, and genuinely yours.
So Inkvoice is open-source (MIT) invoicing you actually own:
• Send professional invoices, quotes, and customer statements
• Get paid online via Stripe & PayPal, with read receipts (see when a client opens an invoice)
• Recurring invoices, expenses, multi-currency, 5 languages, polished PDF templates
• Everything lives in a single SQLite file on your own server
Run it yourself for free in a ~50MB Docker container (Docker / Dokploy / Coolify), or use the managed Cloud if you'd rather not run servers. No per-seat pricing, no lock-in, no telemetry.
It's free to self-host; Cloud has a free tier and paid plans from $4.99/mo.

I'm here all day, would genuinely love your feedback, feature requests, and the "why isn't this open-source already?!" rants. What would make you switch? 🙏
