Your product looks awesome, but putting a wall before I can see you pricing is really annoying. Forcing our email address almost negates your point when you say "We hate spam too!".
@alexsaidani Thanks Alex! I really hated bringing it up. Congratulations on the launch. :)

@annchanyt -- looks like a great product. As mohamed saleh mentioned earlier, it is a good practice to mention the pricing on the website. When a customer is really interested in your product, he would definitely contact you. I hope you get my point.
In my view, whenever i see a product without pricing table on the website, i would mostly ignore the product. I believe there are lots of people like me..:P good luck with Indemand, I'm looking forward to your product updates...keep it up..:)
@raminjpr Hey Ram, thanks for the feedback, that makes sense! I see your point regarding dropoff rate, we definitely should A/B test this to see what the data says. Thanks for your support :)
Report
@annchanyt -- exactly A/B testing would be very helpful, in my opinion, make it simple for customers..:) Analyze the issue from customer's perspective..will you give your email id to know the price of a product on an ecommerce website? probably not. So i hope this comment helps you. I'm certain that there are better ways to build lists (discounts/social share/affiliates etc).
I see a lot of products online make it complicated for customers...keep it simple..You will be successful. good luck.

This is an awesome idea! How are you guys powering your fleet?
@whoisnatelam hey Nathan! We actually just do the software for companies that have their own fleet or providers - a lot of people using us are service companies not just delivering products :) We have started handling delivery here in the USA, currently with just Postmates but we're integrating you guys too!
Report
@alexsaidani That's awesome! I would love to chat with you on that.
Is there a good way for small businesses with existing websites (built with Wordpress or similar) to allow interaction with Indemand without sending customers to another URL?
@matthewgkay hey Matthew, so do have a custom domain option which we can setup for people and also have widgets that could be placed into an existing wordpress site - but right now this would still operate independently.
Report
@alexsaidani Awesomeness! Widgets sound great. Any links to demos of these in action or documentation on the Indemand site? Can't seem to find anything myself. Would this essentially be like an iframe embed or something a little different?
@pakhzar hey Phillip - challenging question, I suppose it's entirely dependent on the restrictions of the state, with the correct confirmation process for medical cards (in CA) and with your own drivers it could work - our software would allow you to take the orders and manage the deliveries :)
@pakhzar hey Phil - I actually just checked on this. To confirm if you want to do the delivery you would have to have your own drivers sadly - none of the services we make use of could deliver cannabis.
@alexsaidani I'll just hop on my bike and do it myself, thanks for the research Alex!

Hey guys, good job getting this on PH -- looks really good (Ann you've done a great job on the UI!). My Q: do you provide on-going tech support? Let's say I'm a small business selling local, organic protein power (ha...ha) and InDemand breaks on me one day, what can I expect in terms of support and turnaround time?
@aj_shewki hey AJ thanks for the question! :) We try and ensure 100% uptime and use different regions for our servers to be sure of this with continual! But in the off chance we do go down - we'll be a phone call away to help resolve the issues 24/7 :)
@orliesaurus hey - we have a separate app dedicated to the drivers/providers if your business already has them, else we can provide you a way of delivering the goods through a third party - only in the US right now.
Hey Product Hunters & Huntresses! :D
Alex from Indemand here and we’re super excited to launch our SaaS platform.
Indemand lets anyone create an on-demand store or service in minutes, without any code!
I know you’re thinking - “Oh… not another on-demand business!”
Don’t worry we’re not. We’re software, we power on-demand businesses, we don’t deliver. So if your a taxi company in Nigeria, a food delivery business in Germany or a Cleaning company in Dubai, you use our software to offer an ‘Uber-Like’ tracking experience to your customers. In fact we’re already powering on-demand businesses in 14 different countries and across 7 industries!
We give you the three apps you need to get off the ground and running straight away:
✅ Customer facing ordering/requesting app - think the Uber app
✅ Driver/Provider job and routing app - think the Uber driver app
✅ Admin dashboard, this lets you manage all your operations (drivers, customers)
✅ You can customise the look at feel easily to suit your business too.
We’re giving all Product Hunters a special 1 month free trial too :D
Questions?
What’s an on-demand business you ask?
We think an on-demand business is one that delivers a product or provides a services within an hour or two after you request them. Not scheduling or booking in advance.
How’s this different from Postmates or Uber Rush?
We’re not an on-demand business or a delivery provider. Instead we give startups and small businesses the ability to create their own or offer a similar experience to their customers. In fact we integrate with both so if you don’t have your own drivers then we can match your customers with the cheapest delivery service at any given point (USA only). But most of our customers have their own drivers, cleaners, providers…
What types of business does this work for?
Cleaning, taxis, handymen, laundry, food, gifts and many more…
Is this web only?
Nope, we can do iOS and Android too! Just drop us a line…
Do you have an API?
Not yet… let’s chat :)
We’re millennials, terribly unorganised and expect everything to arrive ASAP not waiting days for it to arrive or booking in advance. Our aim is to give small businesses the ability to compete in the growing on-demand economy and make sure they’re not falling behind and enable startups to start their own without spending thousands of dollars on an ‘Uber Clone’!
Happy to answer any questions here or you can reach me directly at: alex@tryindemand.com.
Lots of love the Indemand team.
UPDATE: The Marion story...
Think Marion, she runs a flower shop, but she's losing sales to new on-demand businesses, her customers don't want to have to go to her store to collect the flowers or wait days for them to be delivered. She simply cannot meet these demands and she's not alone! We solve this for people like Marion :)
UPDATE 2: Locations...
We now have businesses in 15 countries using our software: UK, USA, Canada, Bahrain, UAE, Germany, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Nigeria, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, China :)
UPDATE 3: Producthunt store...
For some extra fun, checkout our Product Hunt on-demand store, featuring: on-demand cats, psychic reading and Donald Trump! What more could you ask for? (sorry we don't deliver :P) https://producthunt.ondemandd.com
