Screenshot to share link in one second. Every file is AES-256 encrypted and the key is never stored. It lives only in your link. Works with ShareX, a desktop client (Win/macOS/Linux) and an API. Free: 25 MB/file, 2 GB, no watermarks, servers in Germany.

Hey Product Hunt š I'm Leon, maker of imageserver.pw.
Why I built this: with some popular screenshot tools, you could change a single character in a share URL and land on a stranger's screenshot. And all of those images sat unencrypted on their servers. That bugged me and since I've always been into cryptography, I decided to build the uploader I actually wanted to use.
How it works:
Every upload gets its own random AES-256 key. We never store it. So even if someone guesses a file URL, all they get without the key is encrypted noise.
To be transparent, there are two link types:
- Standard links (?key=) | the key isn't stored, but our server decrypts on request so embeds work in Discord etc.
- Private links (#key) | the key stays in the URL fragment, never reaches us, and decryption happens entirely in your browser.
What you get for free:
ā ShareX preset (set up in under a minute), desktop client for Win/macOS/Linux, and an API
ā 25 MB per file, 2 GB storage, no watermarks
ā Expiring uploads, deletion links, folders & search
ā Servers in Germany, no IP logging for regular access
Paid plans (3⬠/ 10ā¬) add custom domains, bigger files and original quality.
Since I'm a bit of an encryption nerd, I'd especially love feedback on the crypto model! And: what would make you switch from your current uploader?
