Looks like the right landing page for Canon printer setup, got my new Pixma talking to wifi in under ten minutes without needing to dig through manuals.
Honestly this page feels more like a redirect funnel than an actual product, but the Red Icon step is clear enough to follow along. Works fine if you already know what you're doing, otherwise the directions are pretty barebones.
Curious about something — does this only work for newer Canon models, or will it support older printers that I still have sitting around?
Finally got my Canon printer talking to my laptop without wanting to throw it out the window, this walkthrough actually made the ij.start.cannon steps make sense. The red Set Up button is oddly satisfying to click.
The red Set Up icon on canon.com/ijsetup is a nice touch, super easy to spot when you just want to get your Canon printer running without hunting around.
