Idam3D is a free, local-first 3D editor for building editable scenes in your browser. Use templates, textures, extrusion, linked components and transform animation, then save locally or export GLB, PNG or an editable backup. No account required.
Hi Product Hunt! I built Idam3D because the first step into 3D creation still feels unnecessarily intimidating.
Idam3D starts with familiar, direct controls. You can open a ready made scene, model and style individual objects, create linked components, animate transforms, build a poseable character, organize layers, and export the result. It runs in the browser and does not require an account. Projects autosave on the current device, retain recent versions, and can be downloaded as editable backups.
This is a public beta, so I want to be clear about today's boundaries: basic transform keyframe animation is available, but there is no cloud sync, collaboration, character-rig animation or full mesh editing yet. Imported GLB models can be positioned and scaled, but their internal geometry is not editable. GLB exports are currently static.
I would especially value feedback on the first ten minutes: what felt natural, where you hesitated, and what you expected to find but could not. You can reply here or write to support@idam3d.com.

Thank you for trying it.
