How does the AI feedback actually hold up compared to a human CELPIP rater, especially on the speaking and writing sections? Curious how close it is to what an official examiner would actually give me.

Hi Vedat, that's a great question!
To be completely honest, since I don't have access to official CELPIP or IELTS grading data, the AI evaluation is definitely not as accurate as the official test raters. It should not be taken as a perfect prediction of your final official score.
However, it is tuned using the public CLB performance descriptors, so it can give you a very solid approximate score and highlight key areas of improvement (like grammar, coherence, and vocabulary). The main goal is to help you get used to the timing constraints and pressure of the real exam environment while giving you immediate feedback to learn from.
I'd love for you to try a practice run and let me know if the feedback feels helpful for your prep! 🙌

The CLB-aligned feedback sounds really useful for serious prep. One thing that would help me a lot is adding a built-in vocabulary list from each practice test, so I can quickly review the tricky words or phrases I struggled with before the next timed run.

Hi Zeki, thanks so much for the feedback!
That's a fantastic suggestion. Having a built-in vocabulary review list (or a personal vocabulary bank) compiled from each writing practice run would be incredibly valuable for candidates to review tricky terms before starting their next attempt.
I've added this feature idea to our product roadmap. Out of curiosity, would you find it most helpful to see simple definitions, synonyms, or contextual examples for the words/phrases you struggled with?
Thanks again for helping us make I Mock Exam better! 🙌

The AI feedback actually feels close to what a real CELPIP examiner would say, especially on the speaking section. Wished something like this existed when I was scrambling to prep last month.

Hi Aynur, thanks so much for the kind words!
It's awesome to hear that the AI evaluations for the speaking section felt close to the real thing for you. That is exactly what we aimed for—giving candidates a high-fidelity pressure-test before the exam day without paying hundreds of dollars for practice courses.
If you have any friends who are currently preparing, please feel free to share I Mock Exam with them! Best of luck with your CELPIP results (though it sounds like you already crushed it!) 🙌
