My son was born and I couldn't find a baby tracker that didn't want our family's health data in some startup's cloud. So I spent my evenings building one. A year ago I had cervical spine surgery (ACDF). Recovery gave me a new perspective — I started building things that actually matter to me. HydroSleep is the first result. The NAS sync was the feature I built for myself — we have a Synology at home and I didn't want yet another cloud subscription. Turns out no other baby tracker does this.
