Most talk about AI and jobs argues about job titles. Human Edge works one level down: pick your role, correct the pre-filled week to how you actually spend it, and get straight answers: how much of your week AI can already do without you, how much it speeds up (in hours), where that is heading in five years, and which AI tool to start with. 217 occupations, 37 activities, grounded in published research. Free, no sign-up, nothing leaves your browser.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Yaniv.
Every article about AI and jobs argues about job titles: accountants are finished, nurses are safe. But a job isn't one thing. It's a bundle of activities, and AI is very uneven across them. Two people with the same title can have very different exposure depending on how their week is actually split.
So Human Edge breaks work into 37 activities and scores each on two separate things: how capable current AI is at it, and how easily it can actually replace the person doing it (sign-off, physical presence, trust). You pick your role from 217 occupations, adjust the week to reality, and get:
- how much of your week AI can already do without you
- how many hours it can speed up if you use it well
- where that is heading over five years
- the AI tool to start with for your biggest block of time
It's free, there's no sign-up, and nothing you enter leaves your browser. There's an optional $29 personalised plan (the tool, use and first prompt for each of your top five activities, plus a 90-day sequence) for people who want to act on it.
The scores are judgement calls informed by published research (Microsoft Research, Anthropic's Economic Index, Stanford), not measurements, and the method page says where I'm least confident. I'd love to hear where it gets your job wrong.
