Hotaru is a flashcard app for iPhone and iPad that turns what you already study into cards, then brings each card back right before you'd forget it.
What it does:
Paste notes, snap a textbook page or open a PDF, and Apple Intelligence writes question-and-answer cards on your iPhone. Your material stays on the device (on iPhones that can't run Apple Intelligence, there's an opt-in cloud option).
FSRS, the open spaced repetition algorithm used by Anki, decides when each card comes back.
