I built Hootenanny because organizing a party somehow always ends up scattered across group chats, texts, spreadsheets and social media. Who's coming? Are they bringing the kids? Who's bringing what? And where do all the photos end up afterward? I wanted one simple place for all of it, without making every guest download an app or create an account just to RSVP. Hootenanny lets hosts create an event, track RSVPs and headcounts, coordinate what people are bringing, create QR posters and social media images, and optionally turn the event into a shared photo album. I built it independently through Egregius Digital, and one of the coolest surprises has been watching people I don't know start finding it and using it for real events: birthdays, BBQs, weddings and everything in between.
