Homer's Odyssey turns the epic into short, swipeable story cards in clear modern prose. Flip any card to compare the classic public-domain translations side by side. Characters, monsters, places, and quotes quietly collect as you read — filling a chart of the whole voyage. Built for anyone curious about Homer but intimidated by the original. iOS + Android, free to start.

The side-by-side translation comparison is a really clever touch. One thing that would make me keep coming back is a sleep timer or audio narration for the story cards, so I could listen to a chapter or two on my commute instead of just reading on the train. Would feel like a modern audiobook built into the app.
@tahirnurtawpz2 Thanks so much for checking it out! I'm thrilled you like the side-by-side translations. You aren't the only one who has mentioned wanting to listen on a commute, so audio narration is officially on my feature wishlist! A sleep timer is a fantastic addition to that idea, too—falling asleep to the classics sounds pretty ideal. I've noted this down. Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback!
The side-by-side flip to compare translations is such a smart touch, lets you feel the rhythm of the original without losing the modern entry point. Love that the cast and places quietly build out as you go.
@selim380478 Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! I really wanted to make the epic feel accessible without losing its original magic, so hearing that the translation flip and the progressive cast list hit the mark for you totally makes my day. Happy reading! 🏛️"
Finally cracked into book one after years of putting it off — the side-by-side translations are genuinely fun to flip through. Going to keep using this.
@sema0axz This is music to my ears! I have been having the same struggle myself and thats why I got excited to build this. Getting over that initial hurdle of starting the epic is the hardest part, so congrats on conquering Book One! 🏛️ Since you're planning to stick with it, I'd love your feedback as you go deeper. Is there anything UI-wise or feature-wise that would make completing all the books even smoother for you?
