I built it because no one taught me about money growing up, and I want others to be able to make better quality financial decisions. The app has 100+ episodes and is available on iOS, Android, and the web, with free episodes you can try without paying. I'm Daniel! The founder and solo developer of History Bastion.
I built History Bastion because I believe financial education should be accessible to everyone, especially people who grew up without the opportunity to learn about money.
History Bastion is an educational audio app designed to teach financial concepts directly and through history, exploring money, economics, investing, and the historical events that shaped our world.
I taught myself how to develop software with the help of AI and built History Bastion using Flutter and Supabase. It's now available on iOS, Android, and the web.
