Under a post about scroll counters, the top comment was "I'll hit the high score". Others said they quit an app at "device full control", and asked for one without AI. So highscroll counts the doom-scroll as an arcade score, not a guilt meter.
It counts every Reel and TikTok swipe, plus how far your thumb ran (a football pitch adds up fast). The app has no internet permission at all, so what it sees cannot leave your phone: check it in its app info. Android still needs the accessibility switch to see a swipe; the missing internet permission is our answer to that warning.
