Heylee started out as something every consumer brand team has experienced dozens of conversations with customers on a regular basis from which nothing tangible ever seems to come out. The insights from these conversations are left languishing in call transcripts that no one bothers listening to again. Heylee’s purpose is to close this loop by surfacing what users say about your product, objections and triggers to purchase, and mentions of competitors, so that this information can be easily used and acted upon by the relevant stakeholders. The product was developed through an iterative process, with the team’s own desire to extract more and more value from their own conversations driving its creation. It was always focused on solving a real need, while balancing between a powerful yet intuitive set of features. Simplification was the theme and ultimately, most of the early iterations focused on distilling the conversation analytics into three core insights that could be used by teams without requiring any heavy lifting from their end. The early reception has been overwhelmingly positive, and the product development continues with the team working on adding new features to further improve the discoverability of actionable insights from customer conversations.
