Hi PH 🐱! I noticed myself building admin access or god mode into my (many) products over and over again. It was an essential but annoying part of setting up any product since I'd always get to a point where I needed to login as one of my users to help them with their settings or debug an issue. It's really easy to get this wrong and do this is in a way that breaches privacy and security, so I packaged all my code into Help Elf which provides: 🔒 securely impersonate users as an admin 📺 Dashboard to provision admins and track when they login to a user account with audit logging and Slack+email notifications ⚠️ In-app banner warning when you're impersonating a user so you don't mess with anything accidentally + best practices like 2FA baked in It currently works with great with Firebase but adding other identity providers as early users request it.
