A native macOS app that uses your headphones to visualize head movement, helping you stay fluid and balanced throughout your day. It surfaces subtle head shifts in real time and translates them into a simple balance score, so you can notice your sitting habits and adjust naturally as you work.
I built Headjust after noticing that my problem wasn’t just posture, it was unconscious stillness. Hours of work would pass, and I’d barely move.
So I started exploring how AirPods head motion data could be used to surface those patterns quietly, in real time, right on my Mac.
What began as a personal experiment evolved into a fully on-device app that helps you notice drift and prolonged stillness through subtle visual feedback.
The goal was never to create another tracker people depend on forever. It was to build something that creates enough awareness that you eventually stop needing it.
If Headjust works well, success looks like this: you use it, internalize the habit, and one day uninstall it.
