What do you think? …

Hello everyone, Emre here. I’m the founder of HaloScape.

For a long time, I was frustrated by how fragmented and inaccessible health data had become. We had all these wonderful technologies around us to collect our data, but between wearables, IoT devices, sleep trackers, etc. there was no single place to bring it all together in a meaningful and actionable way. And by “actionable,” I mean something super easy to understand, regardless of age or life story.

So we started building HaloScape with that vision in mind. A unified health platform that connects your daily activity, sleep, movement, stress, more daily metrics and even lab results. Our mission is to turn complex data into easy-to-understand daily scores, and to create a platform that supports your daily tracking, motivation, and even connection with friends and family because we believe wellbeing isn’t a solo journey.

There was one more gap we knew we had to close: the fact that the average person only visits their doctor four times a year, while their body changes every single day. So we built a secure, doctor-facing side of HaloScape, where users can easily share their progress and real-time data with their selected healthcare professionals. This is especially valuable for those managing chronic conditions, and it helps people feel supported, informed, and proactive about their health.

What makes HaloScape different is its depth and clarity. We’re not just tracking steps or calories, we’re combining verified insights from wearables and IoT devices into a full picture of your health. All in one app.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and even more excited about what’s ahead. There’s so much more to come, and so many exciting features already cooking in the background.

We launched our early access Beta on May 19th, and with the feedback and support of over 1,000 early access users, we made HaloScape even better. As of August 26th, 2025, our first official release is now live on both the App Store and Play Store. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I really love the daily score concept will it adapt based on individual health goals?

Emre Yucel

@ethan_lennon Hi Ethan, thanks so much for the question 🙌

Our R&D team is actively working on making the daily Halo Score (along with our other scores inside the app) adapt to each individual’s personal goals. These goals can evolve over time as a user’s health journey or life path changes, and the app will reflect that.

It’s one of the top priorities in our pipeline and we’re excited to bring even more customization and personalization to HaloScape very soon.

I think this is a fantastic direction. Personally I tend to give up on health apps because hopping between multiple dashboards is just too tiring. The doctor sharing feature is amazing but if there are options for users who want to keep their data private and just track it themselves.

Fulya Savova

@lucas_edwards1 Hi, it's Fulya from the brand team. Thanks so much for the kind words 🙌 We totally get the frustration of juggling multiple dashboards, that’s exactly why we built HaloScape. To answer your question, the doctor sharing is completely optional. You can keep everything private and just use the app for your own tracking if that’s what feels right. The choice is always yours.

Hope you'll enjoy HaloScape!

The doctor sharing feature sounds incredibly helpful. Is it compliant with HIPAA and GDPR for data security?

Emre Yucel

@lucas_parsons Hi Lucas, great question and something we’ve treated as a top priority from day one.

Yes, HaloScape is fully compliant with both HIPAA and GDPR.

That means things like end-to-end encryption of health data, user-controlled consent for sharing, and region-specific data hosting so information never leaves the jurisdictions it’s protected under. We’ve worked closely with legal advisors and security experts in each country we operate in to make sure compliance isn’t just a formality, but built into how HaloScape functions.

Bottomline is that protecting our users data isn’t an afterthought for us it’s the foundation 🤝

All the best,

-Emre, CEO @ HaloScape

Can HaloScape function offline or with partial syncing? Sometimes wearables drop data or fail to sync so I’m wondering how your app deals with those gaps when calculating daily scores.

Ali KIRAZ
@nathaniel_cook2 Hey there, Ali here from the developing team of HaloScape. Great point. Here’s everything you need to know: HaloScape is built to keep your health data consistent, secure, and always up to date. 1) On iOS, the app runs smoothly offline, using any Apple Health data already stored on your device and processing it locally. 2) On Android, offline mode isn’t supported, since Health Connect requires a network connection to sync data into the system. If your wearable hasn’t synced yet, HaloScape simply works with the inputs available. Once the missing metrics arrive, your scores are automatically recalculated, ensuring your history stays complete and accurate. Some of our AI-driven algorithms run in the cloud, which means you’ll always get the most powerful experience when connected. Bottom line: you never lose your data. HaloScape adapts in real time as syncs catch up, keeping your health insights reliable and precise. Hope you’ll enjoy being a part of the #HaloTribe!
Olivia Johnston

I absolutely love the concept of bringing together all that scattered health data into one neat daily score. It’s so motivating and easy to understand but do you see HaloScape mainly as a consumer app for individuals or is it also something that doctors and clinics might recommend to their patients?

Emre Yucel

@olivia_johnston1 Hi Olivia, really appreciate your thoughtful question & your interest in HaloScape!

HaloScape is built first and foremost for anyone who wants better health. Whether that’s health-conscious individuals, people living with chronic conditions, or anyone at any age, pace, or life story. Our goal has always been to make health tracking meaningful and accessible, without the clutter of multiple apps/screens to juggle.

Alongside that, we’ve developed HaloSight, our dedicated professional panel. It goes hand in hand with the app whenever users choose to share their data. We’re already seeing strong interest from healthcare professionals and from people managing chronic conditions. The panel itself is built specifically for clinical use, giving doctors deeper insights and more advanced views than what’s visible on the consumer side designed to support real conversations and better care.

Because better health should never be limited, HaloScape is for everyone who wants it.

Sadie Scott

Combining stress and sleep tracking is amazing does it also provide insights on recovery?

Aishwarya Ganesh

Hi Sadie @sadie_scott, it’s Aishwarya from the brand team. Thanks so much, we’re glad the direction resonates! Right now, our AI-based algorithm processes over 200 data points from your wearables to generate your daily Halo Score, along with a Stress Index powered by HRV. Both update in real time to give you a clear view of how your body is doing throughout the day.

With that said, we know recovery deserves its own spotlight and we’re actively working on ways to expand those insights. A dedicated section is on our roadmap, but even today, the data you see is already recovery-aware at its core. Hope this helps!

New features will be rolling out soon and we’re excited to share them with you. 🚀
