How does the QR attendance actually work in practice, do members scan a code at the entrance or is it tied to their phone somehow?
@bilalmaras72795 Members check in by scanning a dynamic QR code displayed at the gym entrance (on a reception PC, tablet, or dedicated kiosk). The QR refreshes every 30 seconds. After scanning, GymFlow verifies the member's active membership, validates the QR, prevents duplicate check-ins, and records attendance instantly. This eliminates the need for expensive biometric or RFID hardware while keeping the process fast and secure.
Looks clean, especially the QR attendance piece. Does it sync with existing payment providers like Stripe or RazorPay out of the box, or do I need to set up webhooks manually?
@polatetyl Thanks! It currently supports Razorpay out of the box with automatic order creation, payment verification, and webhook handling for secure payment confirmation. Stripe isn't integrated yet, but the payment layer is modular, so adding Stripe would be straightforward without major changes to the system.
How does the QR attendance feature actually work day to day, like does it need a specific scanner setup or can staff just use a phone?
@mertcanz44e Thanks! No dedicated scanner is required. The gym can display a dynamic QR code on a reception PC, tablet, Raspberry Pi kiosk, or even an Android phone. Members simply scan it using the GymFlow app, and attendance is recorded automatically after validating their membership and preventing duplicate check-ins. This keeps setup costs low while making the process quick and seamless.
Would love to see a member-facing app or portal where people can book classes, view their workout history, and update payment info on their own. Right now the dashboard seems purely for staff, so giving members a little self-serve access would cut down on the back-and-forth messages and really level up the experience.

GymFlow already includes a dedicated member portal where members can view their membership, payment history, download receipts, track attendance, follow assigned workout plans, log progress, manage their profile, and submit support tickets. Class booking isn't available yet, but it's definitely on the roadmap and would be a great addition to further reduce staff workload and improve the member experience. member side link - https://gym-manager-six-beige.vercel.app/member/login
