Guidance is operations software built for SMB CPG brands — the ones dealing with co-packers, organic certification, FSMA 204 compliance, and multi-channel distribution. Traditional ERPs require $50k+ implementations. Guidance configures itself through a structured conversation about your operation. Real-time COGS, lot traceability, organic mass balance, and MRP — from day one, even if your data is messy. Built by a CPG operator to run Claros Farm. Now available for early access.

honestly this looks like exactly what my friend's small hot sauce brand needs, they've been drowning in spreadsheets. one thing though, would be great if you could add a simple supplier portal where co-packers can upload lot certificates and BOLs directly into the system. right now they're emailing pdfs around and it gets messy fast
@fcikada38266 Thank you for this. The co-packer document chaos is real and a supplier upload portal for lot certs and BOLs is already on the roadmap. Have your friend reach out at slater@guidance.so, would love to hear more about how they are running things.
Talked it through with my co-packer setup and it actually pulled the right lot numbers without me cleaning up a spreadsheet first. Feels like it was built by someone who's lived through the FSMA scramble, not a generic ERP trying to fake it.
setup through a conversation instead of a six month onboarding already sets it apart from every erp ive poked at. the co packer and fsma 204 focus feels like it was written by someone who actually lost sleep over lot codes
Configuring an ERP just by talking through your operation feels like something that should be impossible, but the lot traceability view actually pulled in our messy spreadsheets without a week of cleanup. Curious to see how the organic mass balance holds up under audit.
Spent a few minutes with the demo data and the COGS view stood out—seeing real-time costs broken down by lot and channel without any setup gymnastics felt almost unfair for a tool this niche.
